PDA, iPhone and smartphones

We have developed an experimental edition of the site for mobile devices, just visit the site from your PDA, BlackBerry, iPhone or smartphone and it should load automatically for ou. We are keen to hear comments about it.

SMS

Daytime Dublin Bus timetables are now available via SMS, simply text BUS followed by your route number to: 53503.

For example sending BUS 46A to 53503 will result in a text message with the times of the next three buses in each direction.

Each text costs 30¢, 40¢ on O2, and are provided by www.wondertext.com

Palm OS

Damien Carbery has written a freeware timetable application for Palm OS, screenshots of it running in a Palm Simulator are here. It provides a similar service to the SMS timetables (above), but without the cost.
