    does anybdy know anything about the proposed new route 151 grange castle to city centre via crumlin/parkwest and whether cony rd or ringsend will run it

    What's your source for this...? That's a very unorthodox routing.

    it wont be cony rd .. thats closing and moving to phisboro till the new garage is built over in grange castle

    its proposed to use the new bus lanes which are closed at the moment around clondalkin/new nangor rd

    Ringsend is actually going to operate it .

    it will start when the shake up of the tallaght routes is complete.

    bus stops are in place for this route in clondalkin, nangor road.

    New route 151 is due to start in early april and will have 9 buses based at Ringsend Depot allocated to it. the Mon-Fri schedule will have 13 service duties and 6 bogey duties (peaktime duties) with the first bus at 6am running every 15 mins til 7pm then about 20 min intervals until last buses at 1130pm.

    The route will be as follows:

    Ringsend Road (Depot), Pearse St, College St, Christchurch, The Coombe,Crumlin Rd,long Mile Rd,Nangor Road, Parkwest and Grange Castle.

    None 13/13A plus the new no.4 ,The 4 is supposed to help out the 7 from the northside

    Oh Dear.....It appears that all those attractive figures re duty numbers and timings on the 151 may have been a bit premature..
    It now seems that a Private Operator (?) has raised an objection with the Dept of Transport Objections and as a result the entire 151 licence application is now in abeyance until the objection is adjuciated upon (Probably sometime after the T21 works are finished)...So where too from here....Rathcoole probably ???

    sorry people but since the number 4 goes from ballymun to st vincents hospital why not try 66b from maynooth to the mater hospital
