Wage agreement

    How come we were all led to believe that the union,s were serious about the wage agreement.Even after a massive show of support with the march I thought the union,s were serious and were going to take on the bosses and the government, but now they want to go back in to talk,s

    Kevin I was on the march as well, but I suspected, rightly I think, that the union suits at the front of the march were using us for a show of strength so that they could negotiate better with Bertie. We must demand strong worker protection laws as the absolute minimum for even thinking about another agreement.

    I really dont think we,ll even get proper worker protection ,we,ll be given the same old rubbish wrapped up in a neat little bow and it will be pushed by the bigger union,s as the "Best Deal we could get" and then it will be accepted . To be quite honest I,ve been down that road a couple of times in my job ,we,ve gone through about 6 or 7 viability deal,s and we,ve found that when the "Best Deal we could get" was thrown back they alway,s came up with a better one
