    Hooray and full congrats to DB, who have finally decided to route the 14 and 14A up to Parnell Square as I always thought they should. Mind you, the new timetable looks as though there will be fewer of them.

    Because bus information is so excellent in this city (ie never would you find just a blue pole and a bus sign on top of it, perish the thought) and buses always have destination blinds correctly set (because if it says Ballinteer it actually goes to Dundrum) the improvements are just awesome. Considering that now in Dundrum Main Street, you can get a bus to town from both sides of the road, nobody will ever ever be confused again (What with drivers always turning people away on the citybound stop because actually that bus terminates at the next stop, and you have to either cross the road and wait there, in which case the real citybound bus will arrive at the stop you just left) Confused anybody? All of South Dublin is. Hooray would be one of the last words I would use...

    well at least you can now get a bus directly from rathmines to oconnell street
