Sorry, but I must have missed that. What's it about?

Well driver,s staged a stoppage looking for an extension to the easy-pass for the west-link.The company promised it for Six months but took them back early ,so the driver,s staged a stoppage after about two hours they were promised they would get a hearing in the L.R.C. before the hearing was conducted the driver,s were brought in to the manager who issued them with a Final Verbal warning as they had not followed procedure. But these driver,s had been calling on their rep,s to get a meeting with human resources to discuss the issue but human resources refused on at least three occasion,s so what procedures have they broken?
[posted by: kevin]Posted 3 years ago # -
Well if they've been demanding meetings, I'd say they tried to follow protocol. So ASFIC, !?*k Bus Eiréann for a pack of f*!+ing bullies.
[posted by: RT]Posted 3 years ago # -
But the most worrying part of it all is the Union,s did nothing to stop these warning,s ,it,s almost as if they were colluding with management .Which does not auger well for the furure

My proposals for Dublin Bus:
1) Create more cross city routes ie. Amalgamate the 13B and 172 and renumber the route 12.
2) All Xpresso’s terminate at Belfield UCD / Heuston Station / Dublin Airport or DCU.
3) All pointless extra services be placed on the 1 timetable ie. Routes 27C/27X/127/129 become route 127 from Belfield/Leeson Street Bridge to Clare Hall / Baldoyle.
4) That all Cross city buses have timetables as follows and I would also propose that
The suffix ‘C’ only be used when a cross city bus is operating a short to the City
Centre:
12 From DUNARD
DUNARD ESTATE, Blackhorse Avenue, NCR, Oxmantown Road, Stoneybatter, Blackhall Place, The Quays, D’Olier Street, Trinity College, Kildare Street, Stephens Green, Leeson Street, Appian Way, Ranelagh, Beechwood Avenue, PALMERSTOWN PARK
MONDAY TO FRIDAY
Dunard 0905 0915 0930 0945 1000 1015 1030
City Centre 35 45 1000 1015 30 45 1100

[posted by: RT]Posted 2 years ago # -
It was,nt really resolved the L.R.C. made a few recommendations which had absolutely nothing to do with the reason for the stoppage, management still have to considerthese and come back to the union,s .Bot there will definetly not be any more compensation for driver,s forced to use the toll bridge to go to workPosted 2 years ago #
