Waited at the DCU stop yesterday from 17.20 - 17.40.. No sign. It usually always comes at more or less exactly 17.30.
Did I miss something? Ended up taking an extra 40 mins to get home!
Shabby..

God only knows..
A route's a route. 40 minutes lost time is significant.. I want my time back (in the form of an emotional refund on my bus ticket, which I will claim back promptly at 59 O' Connell St.)
Incidently, the following day's 58x arrived on the button at 1730.. I bet that "Out of Service" bus that flew by the day before was the result of lazy driver syndrome. Often happens the last inward 11 and 7 buses..
They often don't show up at all, even though you can clearly see when the last bus is supposed to leave.
Then there's Ballsbridge & Belfield syndrome, where, even though it's not scheduled as such, the driver decides to limit the route they're working, so he/she can return to Donnybrook for a cuppa..

ballsbridge and belfield sydrome?
The drivers dont decide where to terminate, This is usally due to a bus running late so instead of working to town, they pull in from ballsbridge or belfield so the driver can finish his/her duty on time, the inspectors in the control room make these decisions.Posted 3 years ago # -
