   Here's the DB announcement...looks like the bus routes are being re-shuffled again, per the little map below:

   
   
   

   So now the 40 is extended to the old 34/134/83 terminus at McKelvey Avenue...the 40D no longer runs on Ratoath Road, being diverted onto Cardiffsbridge Road...the 40C is now just about totally a copy of the current 40A apart from running on Tolka Valley Road (when did they stop calling this "Griffith Avenue Extension"?) and the old terminus loop around Deanstown...
   
   Weird, wild stuff...

   Nothing wild about it ,just common sense, no point in running a bus along Ratoath road when all there is on either side is green field,s , the 40c to the hospital carried about eight people on the first journey in the morning and nothing after that ,and it was depriving the people of Finglas of a proper service, oh and by the way the 40 will be going past Mc Kelvey and turning at the roundabout at the M50 flyover

   The head,s thought it would be handier to turn there ,but,when it was pointed out the amount of hassle with local resident,s in the past ie cars,vans illegelly parked and blocking the road ,they decided to run it to the roundabout
