Stady on XPee....It only a suspension of service.
And as with most announcements at the present time it`s all about securing FUNDING.
Poor and all as AerDart general load factors are,you can bet a barrowful of compost that the Local North Dublin Politico`s are already in overdrive mode to issue statements and pledge allegiance to those poor disadvanatged and discriminated against folks who DO use the service.
The cessation date is the 20th March which allows for the St Patricks Festival peaks to be accomodated. Oddly enuf this date also witnesses Bus Atha Cliaths winding down of the Nitelink service with the Mon-Wed services cancelled and the Thursday at a reduced level.
The MD of AerDart is well versed in the gentle art of politicking so lets just wait`n`see......Hark! ....Is that the Lone Ranger I hear twotting along the M1........Posted 3 years ago # -
I always wondered how Aerbus made any profit, i dont think i have ever seen one of there buses with more than few people on board. I think they are finished, due to lack of demand.I can see why, by the time the bus gets to the dart, you could be in the city centre by taxi!
