I should probably puit this under rants but...

why oh why oh why did Dublin Bus split the 51B into a 51C and 51B route., I live in cherrywood inclondalkin, and we used to have a (fairly) regular service every DB 15 mins (you know what I mean DB 15 mins is two 5 mins apart every 40) but nwo we have a single bus every half an hour, with no increase in frequency and half the b**dy drivers "going sharp" i.e. leaving the terminaus early.

As a result I'm left standing there for 1/2 an hour in the morning, feeling like a tool and thinking - I should have stayed in bed!!

I'm not asking for much, just an increase in frequnecy in the mornings, say from 7:30 to 8:45. It could probably be covered by an extra two buses, especially if they were sent "out special"

sometimes going sharp can be accidental.every single bus has the time displayed on the ticket machine. Most show a different time to the time shown on any other bus.some vary by as much as 5 mins.No 2 drivers watches can gauranteed to be the same either. In the morning the stanceman may also have alot to do with early departure as he is reacting to the traffic situation as a whole.

Best thing to do is be at your stop well before a bus is due to be there.

    Grayham is dead right.
I was regarded as some sort of warlock for suggesting that ALL BAC garages use the new Intranet facility combined with a large digital clock in each garage as being THE operational time.
With several Atomic Clock programmes now available on-line there is no excuse for the present nonsense.
