Bizarre passengers (as mentioned in Hippy Drivers)

I have seen the walkie-talkie guy (doesn't he look a bit like Mr.Bean?), but not the pen freak. The walkie-talkie guy has been around for a good while now and is possibly being subsidised by Dublin Bus to cause amusement for passengers. Several years ago I was waiting at a 45 bus-stop and saw him talking into his walkie-talkie about something or other. At one point he obviously was given some go ahead or other, for he lunged at the bus-stop and began throttling the pole while howling in a weird, warbling language we never got the chance to learn at school. He continued by runningout into the road at random moments warbling manfully with every step. When I got on the bus he leapt on, howled ecstatically at the driver, then leaped off and ran away. Also, a friend once saw him on the DART. He kept sitting in seats that people had only just vacated and would stare silently at the unfortunate soul across the way.
Ona 46A one time I travelled from Deans Grange to Leeson St. while a totally loved-up freak sitting on the rear couch swung his head left and right to music in his head. He didn't stop the whole way down.

  2. There's a guy who gets the 75 who, every morning, without fail, picks a passenger to go up to every morning to accuse of looking at him. this morning he picked on some bloke who looked like he was on heroin, but this looney is not discriminating.

He picked on a devestatingly beutiful girl last week, and some old granny a few mornings before that.

    Absolute Loon.

I was reading my book once on the 56A when this guy came out of nowhere, sat down beside me and fell asleep on my shoulder. I nudged him and he woke up, then did it again, and again for the whole way home

Rick! There are some replicants roaming around North Dublin. We need you, man.
