Lucan to Damastown
(6 posts)-
Anyone know a good way to get from South Lucan to Damastown Ind Estate(Clonee/Blanch). Had a look at Dublin Bus offerings and it seems I would have to change in town or maybe Blanch itself. Are there private companies that do this route?Posted 4 years ago #

The 239 runs from Liffey Valley to Blanchardstown, this route travels through Lucan, you could then change bus in Castleknock to the 38 which runs to Damastown. The 239 has roughly an hourly frequency while the 38 runs about every 20 mins.

If thats true then it's ridiculous, there are many other routes which are operated by double deckers with roads smilar to that of the 239, i have seen coaches full of people travel these roads travelling to Luttrelstown Castle and Fort Lucan, while some of the roads are narrow it just takes care and patience negotiating the bends.
