Dublin Bus Crash
(5 posts)-
Hasnt it all gone very very quiet?? So whats the general opinion of this incident then? Driver at fault? In my opinion, definately. Someone tell me how it cant be please! As a fellow Dublin coach driver, forgive me for saying so, but "some" and not all of the Dublin Bus Driving standards leave a lot to be desired. Undertaking, zooming down bus lanes (god help a child or pedestrian stepping out), blocking roads, double parking etc etc. Tell me, dont they teach setting down parallel to the curb anymore? 'cause arse end out is asking for trouble! All you bus drivers know what i mean. I think another accident is bound to happen sooner rather than later. Also just one last point, how come Buses, Coaches and Taxi's dont give way to each other? Why do we have to be so "every man for himself" in Dublin?Posted 4 years ago #

Unless you know all the facts behind that particular incident, I suggest you might want to keep idle speculation to yourself. A lot has been said about the safety issues surrounding the site of that crash (before and since Feb 22nd) and ignorantly throwing blame at individuals doesn't help matters at all.
