Abusive Bus Driver
(3 posts)-
I was on the 270 from Dunboyne to Blanchardstown a few saturdays ago when we got about half way the bus driver shouts back we're taking a detour. Now this detour add an extra 20 minute to a bus journey which on average takes 15 minutes. This in turn made me a a few over passenger later for work. As I was leaving the bus I told the driver I would complain he got up out of his seat, out of the drivers box and told me go away before he 'PUNCHED THE HEAD OF ME' and I was barried from his bus. Now I rang the Dublin Bus the following monday and left a contact number the never rang back the next step I think will be a gardi report filled by me.Posted 4 years ago #

Crikey....The west is obviously Awake !!
Did he actually "PUNCH YOUR HEAD OFF" or was it merely bluster.
Is this "Diversion" a regular feature...?
Investigation called for and not really in the Gardai`s forte...Posted 4 years ago # -
Any threat made by any person against another should be reported to the Gardai and if the case, an employer. If a company is advertising quality customer services then this is what the customer should get regardless. I worked in a call centre for a bank and if I spoke to a customer who was totally in the wrong and had accused me personally of robbing money rom thier account and they did not like my tone then I would have been sacked on the spot. All jobs are stressful but employees should be trained to deal with situations. If the cant then they should not be employed in dealing with the public. X, get on to DB again as this is an irregular services and they will know who the driver is. If this gets you nowhere then complain to the Gardai as this ignoramus may well hit the next person who says something he does not like.
