The 25N will be extended to Dodsborough in Lucan on 8th November. IMHO, that is where the route that is now known as the 25A should have always gone…but that is simply my opinion.
Of course, I am also of the opinion that the 25A ought not have been created in the first place. (since the 25 had two branches, one to Dodsborough and the other to Arthur Griffith Park via Adamstown Road and Lucan Village, the latter becoming the 25A). What should have happened was when the new 25A was being created, it should have instead been an extension of the currently superfluous route 26, operating via Kennelsfort Road, Coldcut Road (always makes me think of a delicatessen—who named this road??), Liffey Valley Centre, Mount Andrew, Ballyowen Road, Abbeywood/Abbeydale, etc. etc. reaching Arthur Griffith Park and the Newcastle Road but also serving Dodsborough…but I digress of course.
Well, there you go, all the rowdy ones will have a FightLink bus to the above-described destination…
