you would thik that phibsboro depot would get the number 83 on their scrolls on some olympians without it because it took months joining the 2 together
and there are still buses with 134 going around phibsboro, finglas

You are dead right-spot on-bullseye there Gary.
t represents a total failure of the management to undertake the simple non-complex stuff and is not confined to BAC either.
One of the constant gripes in the London region now is the never ending shuffling and cascading of Vehicles from area to area without equipping them with correct scrolls/programmes.
The resultant use of stickers and blank yellow displays leaves the user with the impression of amateurish and low-rent operations....Posted 5 years ago # -
The way New Jersey Transit used to do it, all scrolls had all route numbers/destinations on them, so if a service was transferred to another garage, there was no need to put up paper signs unless the scrolls were broken.
NJ Transit started using dot-matrix digital destination displays back in the early 1980s; all route numbers and destinations were included in the database on each bus.Posted 5 years ago # -

DB obviously prefer to pretend that Kilmac and Ballywaltrim are the same, but they are a good bit apart. Also, the latter is a fairly recent invention.Posted 3 years ago #
