Oh for gods sake c'mon!!!! Why does the 75 insist on taking anything between 10 mins and 30mins to go around that poxy Sandyford Industrail Estate. The businesses in that park should be made pay for a shuttle bus to take all the employees out to the nearest pick up piont OUTSIDE the freaking place. There is no need for any bus to get stuck in there. I don't see why Dublin Bus or there customers put up with this! I really hope that somebody somewhere has the sence to lay on a free shuttle bus for public comuters and stop everyone else that 10mins to 30mins delay in getting home!

75's. Whats with the Sandyford industrail estate?

Well, there are about 10,000 people working on the estate. Most of whom drive, myself included.
The estate was never designed to have that many people working in it, it was supposed to be for light manufacturing and warehousing. (Of course Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council get a lot more ground rent and rates from an office block than from a factory and they approve a lot of planning applications...)
So your bus is getting stuck in the middle of all of these extra cars. Why is everybody driving? Because the Bus service is abysmal. Very slow, very infrequent, and a big 'feck you' from Dublin Bus if you work late - most services stop at 18:30.
The service won't be improved in the near future, wait until Luas is built (we've been promised 2003, which means 2006-7-8) Of course you'll probably be driving by then, along with everyone else...
