In related news, over in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, things are gearing up for the Massachusetts Bay Commuter Railroad, another Connex venture, to take over commuter operations of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority over from current operator Amtrak very soon. There are even rumblings of regret over that decision. Amtrak did not re-bid for the contract, incidentally.
