That online petition that some of us have put our names on and is a number of years old...will that be delivered to the Dail anytime soon? What's the intent of that. Or are you short on names, do you want a certain number of names on there before delivery...
What's the final goal for the petition, IOW?

That there petition

I was wondering when somebody would ask this question, and after 2 1/2 years, you're the first one Al!
There are 337 entries on the petition, I'm open to suggestions, but why don't we deliver it when it reaches 400?
It will have to be gone through and checked, so that we don't deliver it with a lot of duff entires that will reduce it's impact. IMO, copies should be delivered to CIE and the Department of Transport.
As far as the final goal is, I want people to be climbing on the bus to see Seamus frantically grabbing onto the handrail of a crammed 44, on his way to work. He lives on a bus route, why doesn't he use it? Will he use the Luas when it opens? (will he still have a job then?).
Of course, he'll ignore the petition, but the hope is that it will get people (and the media) thinking, there is always a fuss if a health minister uses a private hospital, or an education minister sends their kids to a private school, so why not afford the transport minister the same treatment?
[side note: email address is no longer a required field when submitting entires to the message board, you're right about bots, I don't trust them either! I'll be posting an update later on on the current status of BUSRAGE v3.0]Posted 5 years ago # -

I think we know why you want him there at that time, but thats OK, quite understandable
Incidentally, Mike Bloomberg, mayor of New York City, rides the subway to work every day but that has not helped his popularity one bit; he had better switch to limo, just in case some exceptionally angry New Yorkers find out which train he takesPosted 5 years ago #
