does anyone get the 77 and notice the complete lack of adherence to the no smoking laws? everyone smokes and its not just cigarettes! no one complains,me included, and the driver never says anything.while i'm at it ; the buses are always dirty and they smell.and u always have to wait ages for a bus going into town.

I use the 45 and/or the 46A every day and if you get onto either bus after, say, 6 p.m. there is no way you won't be assaulted by the putrid smell of cigarette smoke. I've told people to stop smoking a few times, but you can't keep having to do it every day. 45/50 minutes on a bus with that s**tty smell filling the air is enough to make my f**king teeth ache. There are a few 46A drivers, I recognise them, who are seriously diligent when it comes to bus etiquette, but most couldn't give a f**k. If a couple of lads are having a smoke on the last bus home, I don't care, but frequent smoking throughout the evening buses is a f**king curse.

You have mirrors, bus drivers, so use them and react when you see any s**t going on. You know you have the power to stop smokers (kick 'em off), so get on with it. And the next time there's a bus strike I'll stand in the lines with you.

Its not just the 77.. its almost any bus to Tallaght, I lived there for a while. I once asked a guy to stop. Only to be asked down the back of the bus so as he could beat 7 colors of s**t out of me. I of course declined!! Dont get me wrong there are decent people in Tallaght, but I no longer live there and no take the 42 and never see a Smoker.

Those who light up at the back of the bus and smoke to their heart's content
are right selfish sh*tes!! The have no consideration for other peoples', lungs
mine included who have to put up with there f**kin' habit. If they want to
get cancer, do it in their own homes!! If you ask why I don't tell them to
stop is like that guy said, I'll get the s**te bet out of me.
So it's up to that b****x of a company, Dublin Bus to get their drivers to feck them
    off!!
For the benefit of Dublin Bus here are the routes where it is common,
    7, 46, 46A and many more!
