&#60;p&#62;Mr. Brennan's death after an illness, at a relatively young age, reminds me of the recent death of George Warrington, who ran the US transport concerns Amtrak and New Jersey Transit.  Seems like being too deep into the politics kills you at an early age, eh?  (Meanwhile, Warrington's successor at Amtrak, one David Gunn, who had more of a business approach than a political and worked at a lot more railway/transport agencies including New York's MTA and Philadelphia's SEPTA, is still going strong.  Gotta be the politics.)&#60;/p&#62;&#60;/blockquote&#62;</description>
