EU interference is also insisting on lots of &#34;competition&#34; for DB, which is going to hurt rather than help the transport situation.  You&#38;#39;re going to have to get together with a large group of people and pelt the Dail and Seanad with lots of letters if you want to see an improvement in bus service.&#60;br&#62;&#60;/p&#62;</description>

<description>Thanks to the incompetence of Dublin Bus my son was late for his first full day at secondary school.  The no. 8 bus had not arrived within 20 minutes of his scheduled time. So eventually we had to drive him. So much from for the sanctimonious humbug from politicians about kids being driven to school. Parents drive them because they want them to receive an education.&#60;br&#62;Why no bus?  The controller in Donnybrook said many drivers had failed to turn up today.&#60;br&#62;So it&#38;#39;s back in the car for us.  &#60;br&#62;We should acknowledge that we cannot run a public transport system, and simply ask the Swedes or the Dutch to do it.</description>
