I cant comment on the rest. http://busrage.com/forum/topic/5106#post-5108 Sat, 10 Mar 2007 08:21:50 +0000 meanie 5108@http://busrage.com/forum/ while i dont agree with the way the driver dealt with the issue. i.e. his abusive behaviour. he was in his rights to ask for the buggy to be folded. the ruling is one open buggy and the rest to be folded and that is for safety purposes only.that girl should&#39;ve been prepared to fold the buggy or wait for the next bus like some of them do.there is no clear definition on the use of low floor buses except the one i mentioned above.i know of an incident where the driver had an open buggy on his bus at the s.c. and a wheel chair wanted to use the same bus.the driver in question asked for the buggy to be folded so the wheel chair could get on and was basically told to f.off that they were on first and the buggy was not going to be folded. the driver had no option but to leave the wheel chair behind. <br>the other thing about buggies is that drivers are under fierce pressure when it comes to time, sometimes it can take up to 4-5 minutes to get a folded buggy on at just one stop. a bus driver doesn&#39;t have to give his name to anybody.all you can do is take the bus reg and time and thats all thats needed. http://busrage.com/forum/topic/5106#post-5107 Sat, 10 Mar 2007 07:07:21 +0000 Anonymous 5107@http://busrage.com/forum/ Sounds like a driver we encountered on the 120 back in summer 2006. He was an ignorant scumbag, he drove by the stop on Faussagh Road at the clubhouse and proceeded on up to the next stop, and said "if ya hada pressed the f**king bell i would of stopped", and because it was an AV, AV282, it had the bus stopping light showing but he said no of you pressed any f**kin bell. The same when passengers asked why he was rude, and he just continued to be an utter prick, a woman then asked for his name and where he was based but he didnt give any, thats when i told her , that he was based in Phibsboro, wot fleet number the bus was and wot duty was on the ticket. The bd swore at her for absolutely no reason and then threw her off the bus because she questioned him as to how she uses that bus everyday day but is allowed on everytime. Worst of all he cursed at an old woman who was trying to help and then proceeded to drive alongside this girl that he threw off the bus and swore out the door at her whilst beeping the horn a her all the way up the clonsilla road heading for the SC. This poor girl was in tears at this guy. When pressed by other passengers he admitted he was from Phibsoro garage but wouldn&#39;t give his name. He looks Irish but had an eastern european accent. If any other driver knows who this guy is someone should give him a good ass kicking for giving you all a bad name....
