It was actually quicker literally walking home in the afternoons, despite my job being beside the 2nd stop from the terminus on Crumlin Road. It would often take 30-40 minutes for the bus to arrive from 2 stops down the line. The problem with most routes now is running time. i.e. a driver only has say 1 and a half hours to get from A to B ,but if it takes 2 hours something somewhere has to give and that is buses not turning up.
