Another easy way to spot a DT from a distance is the raised dash board, you will notice the higher grey area in the left of the windscreen.
[posted by: P]

Cummins engined buses do in fact seem smoother - the RA's are a lot smoother than the newer RV's for example. An easy way to spot a DT is that they've got a square grille on the offside.
[posted by: Red Alert]

Don’t know why, but I just find it rather amusing that Dublin Bus now has a vehicle class that could be interpreted to stand for "delirium tremens"...(it’s like the worst "drunken Irishman" jokes you’ve ever heard)

How To Notice / Spot a DT: I find that it is easier to look at the Regplate. If it's a low number 03. Then it's a DT. There's usuaally 2/3 0's in front of it. There are some minor details, Rear Window etc... but not much. The DT runs smoother than a AV I think

DT's operate EURO duties you would be most likely to see them on the 37/8/9 & 70. DT4 is often seen on the 42A/43. The main difference is they have a cummin engine me thinks...Not to sure though
[posted by: Daz42c]
