The 17A never went any further west than the corner of Mellowes and Kildonan Roads. Also, the 17A is only thirty-something years old, yes? Not old by DB standards. <br> <br>The 17A is a mis-nomer anyway, since it has nothing to do with the 17 on the south side (Kilmainham-Blackrock) or even the old 17 from Whitehall to Rathfarnham. <br> <br>Nobody rides the 220 from Finglas to Poppintree? Now after almost two decades of that routing, I have a hard time believing that.
