Following consultation between the Gardai, Dublin Bus Management and the Drivers, it has been agreed to reinstate the bus service to areas around Tallaght and beyond, after 6pm every evening.
The service was withdrawn earlier this year, due to local brats attacking and injuring drivers in the area, leaving the rest of the locality without a bus service. Our solidarity is with those drivers and the local people affected. It’s bad enough that badly thought-out local road planning and poor infrastructure, along with a complete lack of funding and support from central government leaves us with a third world public transport system, but when a few little trouble makers actually try to wreck what little service we have, then we really are in trouble.
BUSRAGE may have a beef with the Government and Dublin Bus, but when our drivers are being attacked we stand firm with you. Lets keep the buses running.
